An east-facing bedroom is lit hours before the alarm. Blackout fabric stops the light at the glass, and a deeper recess fit closes the halo an ordinary blind leaves down the edges.

Start with the constraint
The awkward opening is more useful than a perfect inspiration photo. It reveals the clearance, light or daily habit the covering has to solve, and that usually narrows the range before colour enters the conversation.
A quick photo with the window open and another at the troublesome hour are useful starting points. The final answer still comes from seeing the frame, the room and the route a hand or door takes around it.
A projecting handle, alarm sensor, tiled return or uneven trim can decide the mount before the fabric is opened. We check the window while it opens, not only while it poses closed, then choose whether the hardware belongs inside the reveal, over it or clear of it.
Name the moment: dawn reaches the pillow, afternoon turns the television into a mirror, or night exposes a street-facing room. A sample held against that actual light tells more than a showroom wall. When possible, book the visit while the problem is visible and let the window demonstrate it.
Adjacent openings can share a top line, room-side colour and hardware finish while using different weaves or mechanisms for different orientations. Planning the set together protects the visual rhythm without forcing the sunny window and the shaded window to accept the same compromise.

It depends on the size of the window, the fabric and whether the blind is motorized, so any figure quoted before someone has seen your windows is a guess. You get a real number at the visit, in person, before a single blind is ordered.
