The short version

Nothing you type reaches this website.

The booking form writes an email in your own mail app, addressed to us, and you decide whether to send it. There is no server on the other side of it — nothing is posted to this site, stored on it or logged by it. What we end up holding is the message you chose to send, sitting in an ordinary inbox.

What the form asks for

Four things, of which two are required: your name and a phone number. The other two are optional — roughly where in the GTA you are, so we know whether the van reaches you, and a note about your windows.

If you used the hour picker before booking, the hour you chose travels with the message. That is the whole point of it: an enquiry that says6am, the bedroom tells us what to bring, and it saves you explaining the problem twice.

Where it goes

Into an email addressed to care@blinds-company.ca, composed in your own mail app and sent by you. Two consequences worth saying plainly: this website never receives the information at all, and the message is handled by your own mail provider exactly as it handles everything else you send.

If you ring instead, we hold what you tell us on the call — usually a name, a number, and an address to come to.

Who sees it

The people who arrange the visit and the person who comes out to measure. We do not sell enquiries, we do not rent them, and we do not hand them to anybody outside the business for marketing.

How long it stays

While the job needs it: arranging the visit, the quote you might come back to weeks later, a remake, a question about a blind we fitted. Ask us to delete it and we delete it.

Cookies, analytics, tracking

This site sets no cookies. No analytics, no advertising pixel, no consent banner — a banner with nothing behind it is theatre. These are static files; the only scripts on the page are the hour picker, the section reveals and the form's own validation, and none of them send anything anywhere.

Two links do hand you to somebody else when you use them: a phone link opens your dialler and a map link opens your maps app. Those are their own policies.

What you can ask for

Under Canada's federal private-sector privacy law you can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be deleted. Ring(647) 955-4401 or emailcare@blinds-company.ca and say so — there is no form for it. If we handle that badly, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada takes complaints:priv.gc.ca.

Children

We do not knowingly collect anything from children. The form books a measuring appointment inside a home, which is an arrangement between adults.

If this changes

If the site ever gains a real server behind the form, or anything else here stops being true, this page changes with it and the date below moves.
